My expectation about Bodh Gaya fell far short of expectation. A world heritage site where so many people even foreigners visit should have been much much cleaner with proper crowd management mechanism.
People visit Gaya for religious purpose. Authorities should remember God lives in cleaner places. Gaya is unbelievably dirty chaotic, traffic is atrocious . I didnt like the place.
If I had better option for pindadaan I would rather go to that place than Gaya.
I will not recommend my children or any one to go to Gaya for pindadaan.
A place of such importance for Hinduism should have been much better.
Gaya gives a very bad and wrong image of traditional India. I am ashamed that this place is visited by foreigners who get a wrong idea about India.

I suggest spending a day in Bodhgaya (close to Gaya) if you're travelling around North India. It is not very touristic, so it can give you another perspective of the country and it is also a "wind of fresh air" after visiting indu temples and mosques: here you can find dozens of buddhist temples, all in the same place! Of course the Mahabodhi Temple is the cherry on top of the cake, we liked it a lot.

People are very honest, diligent and sincere.
People are very honest, diligent and sincere. They are poor yet dependable. Most unhygienic, poor-quality food. The state government has utterly failed in maintaining the sanctity of the holy places.
The monastery and temples are very well and beautifully maintained.
The poverty and illiteracy of the poor people is very well exploited by the successive state governments.

First select a room not by the rating & offers provided in booking.com, if I viewed the review of that hotel in google. I wouldn't have booked it. Pls book a decent hotel while traveling to other States (Book hotels really have all amenities don't get cheated by false offers in booking.com). Money is not important peace of mind is important. If you feel you re being cheated, you can't enjoy the trip.
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Gaya and recommend to my colleagues .Excellent property and Front desk staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. Property is clean and has a fantastic charm. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine. Thank you so much. Please give staffs awards!

the manager was horrible and took full money for 3 hrs extra whereas the previous manager accepted half day room rate . light went off , room was dirty no hot water and no electricity at the night crazy piece of dingy shit hotel with horrible staff . the manger was a fraud . we threw money on his face and thank god to not ever see them again
The hotel rooms are very nice, and clean. The TV did not work though. Air conditioners, water heater worked. Though no one could understand English, we could contact the owner who lived somewhere outside the country to get things for us.
We were there to perform Gaya Shrardham so we did not avail any coffee or tea or any food.
The price is low. You pay for what you get.
However, as a hotel, staff is not helpful. No hot water, no shower. You are given a bucket and a big plastic cup to fill it with cold water for bathing. Room has broken windows therefore very cold at night but staff refused to give extra blanket. Too many mosquitoes
Concept of hostel is very new to Bihar and relax homestay is at best at its services.
All credit goes to mukesh bhai and neha didi who is making this concept beautiful in Gaya.
Experiences at this place will make you visit this place for more than once.
Most important thing is value for money
The hotel management and service is good 👍
We arrived late but the hotel manager was waiting for our arrival. It's a walking distance from Karnataka Bhawan and Vishnupadh Mandir .
Food is tasty and pure veg and hotel beds are comfortable and highly recommended.
The Hotel receptionist admitted me at 2AM on 14.12. 2022. . They forced me to Pay Rs:300 for early check in at 9AM. I had to Paid 300 in addition to actual rent. I checked out 11.45 PM on 14-12-22.They behaved very rudely. You Never send Parties to this Hotel.
Nice Hotel. Easy to locate and easy to reach from Gaya railway station. If you are coming to visit vishnu pad mandir then this is the best choice.
Bed was super comfortable and luxurious. Big washroom clean rooms and clean property
Property owner was cooperative, even my booking was cancelled by him due to overcome discount price ad by Booking.com and Oyo. But he was not honest of his new business in Hotel and lot has to improve in the hotel room amenities.
Friendly staffs. Always there to help you if you need. Very good vegetarian food. Located just near the main railway station and bus stop. Easy to access most of the places. The convenient store within the hotel premises.
Staff were very helpful and tried their best to make our short stay comfortable. The room was fairly spacious and functional with a really good AC as well as an Android TV :)
Great place, awesome food and services! We had great time dining at restaurant with our friends. Hotel team ensured that we had best time. Thank you for all the efforts 🙏
